Another one from last year, my interpretation of the famous Ansel Adams spot, hope you like it.

Grand Teton National Park.

Ooh, this is an interesting landscape!

It feels somewhat mild down at the bottom, but the sky is really something and the way the mountains rear up in the distance is pretty awesome as well.

I do feel that you could have used the rule of thirds here, but it's not too badly positioned regardless. The colours are lovely with the clouds, and there is some good variety in the foliage below too.

It feels somewhat surreal that there is warmth at the bottom and then cold further up there... more surreal that the change is quite abrupt?

Thank you :)
You're right, the foreground could use a little bit more contrast.
I did not use the rule of thirds because then I wouldn't have had so much of the sky in the frame.
I don't see this abrupt change but I did not change anything with the white balance if it's that what you mean ?

Well, you could have made the sky the bigger portion, if that makes sense. :nod:

Eh, sort of. It's fine. ^^;

I like the sky in this, I feel though the overall image should be darker. Perhaps doing some curves or contrast layer masks in the sky mountains and foreground might add some drama to the image.

Thanks, I know what you mean, I actually processed this already quite a bit but I'm not fully convinced myself.

It still looks good, maybe just a matter of personal preference.
